According to some studies, we only spend an average of 10 percent of our time outdoors. It stands to reason, then, that many allergy flare-ups are occurring in the safety and comfort of our own homes. What airborne presences could be causing these allergic reactions?

Many allergy sufferers are keenly sensitive to cigarette smoke. The allergen particles from cigarette smoke are particularly small, although a home air purifier overpowers them in a snap.
